The Daily Variety Vs. The Vandals

If you’re short on time, just read this one. Joe, the Vandals bass player, drafted this one in response to Variety’s Motion in Opposition To Venue Transfer and it illustrates how absurd it is for the case to exist anywhere, but especially in Delaware. Escalante effectively outlines the crux of the evil perpetuated by Variety’s attorneys. Switching strategies, Variety now admits there is a 30 day cure period (previously denied by them), but they claim it hasn’t been satisfied because to satisfy it you have to 1. Pay MORE than the original penalty curing is supposed to avoid, and 2. Promise to pay twice as much next time, WITHOUT a cure period, WHENEVER THEY ASK.  (In addition to 6 other demands) The Vandals believe that this proves that this is extortion, not legal work. They created an impossible to agree to demand, then sued us for not agreeing to it. In Delaware!
