Because of the appalling nature of what Fullbright & Jaworski, Reed Elsevier, inc., and the Daily Variety are doing to the Vandals, there has been a large public outcry against the plaintiffs and against this kind of abuse of the court system in general. In the document filed by J. Paul Williamson below, The Daily Variety is trying two things.

1. 1.They are trying to make the defense of this lawsuit more expensive and troublesome         by asking the court to force the Vandals to HIRE AND PAY FOR DELAWARE     ATTORNEYS, even though we have the right to represent ourselves and have Joe represent our record label, since it is a corp and cannot represent itself.
   

2. 2.They are trying to get a judge to stop us from speaking out about this abusive lawsuit in public and especially on the Internet. If they were proud of their actions, they wouldn’t care about this but since we think they know what they’re engaged in is an abomination, they would like to do it in the dark without the Vandals being able to exercise their right to speak about it. Are you beginning to see a pattern with these guys?
   

We think this is further proof that all they care about is causing harm and delay to the Vandals while at the same time, billing their clients for tens of thousands of dollars and hopefully keeping this money train alive.
